Covid-19 – Play Areas
The Town Council is taking steps to put up signage on its play areas advising that they should not be used for the foreseeable due to the fact that the Coronavirus can last up to 72 hours on metal/plastic. Unfortunately not all of the play areas are fenced off, and those that are only have low fencing. Jubilee Park will not be closed as people are allowed to exercise – for the sake of their physical and mental wellbeing, whilst maintaining social distancing. If you are using the open spaces please adhere to the social distancing rules – i.e. keeping 2 metres apart from other people.
