County Durham Plan – Consultation Exercise by Durham County Council
Last year Durham County Council published a new draft of the County Durham Plan. Residents, businesses etc were asked for their views on the plan, and the County Council has now looked at this and has revised the plan.
The revised Plan and supporting documents are available to view at all local libraries and Customer Access Points across County Durham. You can download electronic copies of the documents and learn more about the County Durham Plan from our website: http://www.durham.gov.uk/future
There will also be public consultation events taking place across the county. Please look at the consultation website, leaflets and notices at local libraries and council buildings, plus local press notices for further details. A schedule of events is also set out at the end of this letter.
You can make your comments known to us in a number of ways, but we would encourage you to submit your views online, via the County Durham Plan consultation pages at: http://www.durham.gov.uk/future
You can also send us your comments by e-mail to: CDPconsultation@durham.gov.uk. Alternatively you can send us your comments to our special freepost address (all you need to do is write this one line on an envelope – no other address details or postage stamp are needed): FREEPOST Spatial Policy.
For enquiries and to request copies of the plan, including in an alternative format such as large print, Braille, audio cassette or an alternative language, please call: 03000 261908 or 03000 261923.
Durham County Council will be holding a consultation event at the Town Hall in Spennymoor on Tuesday 26th February 2019 between 4pm and 7pm in the Memorial/Civic Suite.
