YOUR OWN

Spennymoor Town Council recognises the importance of the provision of allotments as a means of recreation and relaxation, and a healthy pastime for its residents.

We have recently developed a new Allotment Tenancy Agreement which sets out the terms and conditions in accepting a tenancy, and lays out the obligations of both parties.

We provide administrative support and help to Allotment Committees, we maintain the fencing and roadways of our allotments, we offer security and we provide water services to our Council-managed sites.

Our Allotment Sites

With in the Town area we have 19 allotment sites with over 700 allotments for you to choose from, depending on availability.
